"BYK-3450/BYK-3451" is a water-based surface modifier that significantly reduces surface tension without increasing slip properties and improves wettability on very low polarity substrates. Based on a trisiloxane developed by BYK, the two additives "BYK-3450" and "BYK-3451" provide good wettability even on very challenging substrates, while also offering significant expansion performance. Silicone-free surface conditioner "BYKETOL-WA"

The composition is a combination of high boiling point solvents and defoaming agents. The recommended addition amount is 0.3-3% as an additive relative to the total formulation.

"BYKETOL-WA" is a silicone-free surface modifier that prevents surface defects such as water-based paint edge, pinholes, bubbles, orange peel, and crawling, while improving leveling properties. Separation or cloudiness may occur at temperatures below 5°C. Please warm it up to 20°C and stir thoroughly. This additive should be added to the mill base.
